TDV Instruments for Contact Point Reconstruction  2/pk

  • Translucent instruments that allows to light cure through their tips while the matrix is being hold attached to the adjacent tooth;
  • One instrument for large cavities (L) and one for small cavities (S);
  • Each instrument has a distal and a mesial tip
  • The instruments are autoclavable.

    Contact + Gold Instruments for contact point reconstruction Contact + Gold is a unique instrument developed to easily reconstruct consistent and precise contact points with ideal shape and position in class II restorations with composites.The instrument has its extremities designed to obtain the desired eect with the simple application of force against the adjacent tooth. The slot (1) in the convex surface (2) produces a resin wall that once polymerized forms the contact point. Contact + Gold is presented in a kit with two instruments, one for small cavities (S) and the other for large cavities (L). Each instrument has a mesial (3) and a distal (4) tip. Use: Perform preparation by inserting the matrix/wedge set, giving preference to sectional matrices. Apply enough resin into the cavity to enwrap the tip of the instrument (5). Select the appropriate instrument for the procedure, considering the size and position of the surface to be restored. Insert the instrument into the cavity to control the position of the convex surface in relation to the desired location of the contact point (6). Move it against the matrix and the adjacent tooth, according to the face to be restored: mesial (7) or distal (8) and as indicated by the arrow printed on the end (Push = Pull). Cure the resin holding the instrument in place, applying moderate force. Remove the instrument from the cavity. The resin that was in the fissure, now cured, can preserve the contact. Complete the cavity-filling process, using the usual procedures. Composition: Polysulfone
